Pro doubles your compute: 2 vCPU, 4GB RAM, and 20GB storage. You also get $25 in AI credits (vs $10) which covers roughly 2,500 messages. Pro is designed for production workloads — higher-traffic bots, agents handling more concurrent conversations, or agents with large memory stores. Both plans include the same features; Pro just has more horsepower.

### What happens when my AI credits run out?

Your agent pauses AI responses until you top up — it does not keep running and surprise you with a bill. You can add credits in $5, $10, or $25 increments instantly from your dashboard. Most Starter users do not hit the $10 limit in a month. We will warn you at 80% usage so you are never caught off guard.

### How many messages can I send with the included credits?

It depends on the model and message length, but rough numbers: $10 covers about 1,000 messages with Claude Sonnet or GPT-4o, and 3,000-5,000 messages with smaller models like Llama or Mistral. If you use a mix, expect 1,500-2,000 messages per $10. Pro's $25 scales proportionally.

### Can I switch between Starter and Pro?

Yes, upgrade or downgrade anytime from your dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately — your container gets more resources within minutes. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. No penalties, no lock-in periods.

### Is there a free trial?

We do not offer a free tier, but you can cancel within the first 7 days for a full refund. Setting up takes 5 minutes, so you will know quickly whether HostedClaws is right for you. Most users deploy their agent and start testing within the first hour.
